Will the at-home blood test hurt?
Our at-home blood test is designed to be as gentle and simple as possible. It uses a small lancet to create a quick, light prick on your finger. You’ll only need to collect four small drops of blood, so the process is over quickly and can be done easily from the comfort of your home. Most people find it far less uncomfortable than they expect.
Is the at-home blood test safe?
Yes, our NurtureKit® blood tests are MHRA-registered in vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVD), CE-marked, and meet ISO 13485 safety standards. They offer a safe, low-invasive way to monitor your Vitamin D and Omega-3 levels at home.
What should I do if my results indicate a deficiency?
Firstly, don’t panic! It’s completely normal to see deficiencies, especially during pregnancy. The good news is, based on your results, we can recommend a supplement plan to help fill those gaps and support a healthy, happy pregnancy.
How do the at-home blood tests work?
The NurtureKit® includes an easy-to-use at-home blood test for tracking your DHA levels. You collect a few drops of blood using a dried blood spot (DBS) sample and send it back to our lab for analysis. Based on the results, we adjust your supplement dosage to meet your unique nutritional needs.
